Astrid is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Public Health earning a doctorate in public health and Master of Public Health in Health Promotion & Education. She received her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She currently serves as the Environmental Justice manager for Black Women for Wellness and oversees their beauty justice work.
Tianna holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California where she graduated as the first Black University Valedictorian for the Class of 2021. She currently works as an Environmental Justice Program Lead for the non-profit Black Women for Wellness.
Janet earned a master’s degree in public policy from George Washington University and has served as Breast Cancer Prevention Partners’ Sr. Director of Program and Policy for 20 years. She has over 30 years of experience working in the social change arena as a political organizer and lobbyist on women’s health issues. Under her leadership, BCPP has secured passage of 18 local, state, and federal laws that force the disclosure and stricter regulation of chemicals in beauty, personal care, and other consumer products.
